Josh Riley is the Founder of WebMatters New Media. Since its inception in 1995, WebMatters has helped many clients establish an online presence through the design and development of websites for businesses, churches, ministries and other organizations. After playing an integral role in founding and developing WebMatters in it’s early days, in recent years Josh’s involvement has been primarily in writing, speaking on the topic of social media and providing strategic guidance for WebMatters. His wife Caroline directs day-to-day operations and general management.

Josh received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1984 from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he majored in Finance. He is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).With family lineage traceable back to the Revolutionary War era, Josh is an avid student of early American history. Josh enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, sports and playing keyboards.
Caroline P. Riley,
Managing Director
A veteran of the high technology business, Caroline Riley has over 14 years of software vendor experience, with an emphasis on marketing and selling knowledge management and application development technology to large businesses. She’s a specialist in technology marketing, sales and sales support, written and verbal communications, competitive analysis, customer interface and training. A practiced and highly effective public speaker, Caroline has a strong talent for building relationships and for problem analysis and resolution.
Prior to joining WebMatters in 1998, Caroline’s previous employers included Inference Corporation, Sterling Software, KnowledgeWare, Pansophic Systems and MSA.
A native of North Carolina, Caroline has lived in Georgia most of her life, primarily in the Athens and Atlanta areas. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1983 with a BBA in Management Science. In 1995, she completed Emory University’s Marketing Strategies and Analysis for Competitive Advantage Executive Program, where she received the “Top Dog” award for winning a team marketing strategy simulation competition.
Caroline enjoys home design and decorating and is a trained musician.
Josh and Caroline live in the northern suburbs of Atlanta in south Forsyth County with their son Graham and daughter Delaney. Together they enjoy spending time with family. They are active members of Perimeter Church.
